The Best, Not The Rest
A-List keywording is a new concept, focusing on who rather than what is to be keyworded.
Put simply, Keedup’s Piksee image workflow system can filter the production sent to us to deliver only images of the important stars (other criteria can also be used). This can save significant amounts of money overall by reducing the number of images keyworded.
Just as importantly, it focuses the keywording effort so that the images which are likely to generate the most money get in-depth keywording, rather than a compromise having to be made, with a lower level of keywording across many more images.
With our help, clients put together their A-List, and are then charged every week for keywording images of those people on the list. Each fixed amount is paid for each star, regardless of the number of images of that person, up to an agreed image limit. This gives a large degree of certainty as to the regular keywording bill.
The composition of the A-List can vary significantly from client to client, depending on the client the agency is based in, the types of images they specialise in (music or sports stars for instance) and the overall number of images produced each week.
The list can also be updated, so that if a certain celebrity becomes more prominent, an addition can can be made to the original list.
Whilst the most obvious application for this service is with live production, the same principle can be used to work through archive images – keywording just the best parts of the collection.
