Image Distribution Services – Drag, Drop and Save

Either as an add-on to keywording and captioning, or as a stand alone-service, Keedup distribution enables you to get images to market faster and cheaper than existing methods of sending DVDs by courier, or manually sending by FTP.

All you need to do is send the images with distribution instructions to our offices in Auckland and we will take care of the rest.

High Bandwidth Server

Images are distributed using our high bandwidth server in Montreal which is able to send by FTP to scores of destinations simultaneously using our specially written Keedup Broadcast software.

Keedup Broadcast has the flexibility to send batches of images according to varying instructions based on rights and territory and has a sophisticated re-try system to make sure the images get through to their destination.

No More Costly DVDs and Courier Fees

Clients who previously spent hours burning DVDs, labelling them and then paying thousands of dollars in courier bills to send their images to their sub-agents and clients are now able to drag, drop and save.

Charges for the service are based on file size, number of images and the complexity of instructions. Typically we are able to reduce costs to a few hundred dollars when previously they were measured in thousands per month with courier costs taken into account.

Faster To Market

There is also a significant saving in time, and time to market. Distribution is normally complete within a couple of hours of being received at our office which is open 24/7. That beats a courier by a big margin.

Because charges are so low, you no longer have to wait to amass enough images to make it worthwhile to prepare the DVDs and incur another hefty courier charge. You can send a few dozen images at a time if you would like. This effectively improves speed to market by days or weeks.

Even clients already using manual FTP systems find advantages because they no longer have to spend time monitoring their sends, re-trying failed images and fuming about poor bandwidth.

Easy Set-up

Most of the companies you deal with will have FTP already – enabling us to begin distribution for you immediately. Where there are gaps we are happy to work with you to make your distribution network complete. We can also set up a system for sending image alerts via email so companies receiving your images know they have arrived. These can be forwarded on to picture buyers to promote sales.

To maintain the integrity and security of the images between your office and Keedup, we recommend using Mass Transit (see www.grouplogic.com for more information about this software) which guarantees files arrive without error. We use this same software to relay images to our Montreal distribution server. We are happy to provide the necessary software free of charge. The software is compatible with Mac and PC.
